Dennis was a qualified Doctor of Chinese medicine, a naturopath, acupuncturist and medical herbalist, who started practising in 1984. His wife Marion, who has run the online store still its inception, has a background in Accounting.
In 1997, Dennis and Marion became active in the Australian health food industry, and began manufacturing proprietary, evidence-based natural formula medicines, including the popular magnesium-based Colon Cleanse (link to product).
In 2005, they followed with The Nitric Factor (link), a formulation based on the Nobel Prize-winning discovery of nitric oxide’s role in cardiovascular health. It combined ingredients such as AAKG (arginine alpha-ketoglutarate), citrulline malate, and glycine propionyl-L-carnitine, to naturally support nitric oxide levels in the body.
In 2018, Bio Active Collagen Peptides, Marine Collagen Peptides, and Marine Collagen Cream (link to all products), were added to the product range. Scientific studies showed that bio active collagen peptides can support collagen metabolism for healthy skin, nails and joints; improve the elasticity of tendons and ligaments; and promote cartilage tissue growth.
Sadly, Dennis passed away unexpectedly in 2025. However, Marion, together with her son Robert, a qualified physiotherapist, have continued the manufacturing and distribution side of the business, ensuring its ongoing operation, and commitment to serving our customers.
